Ambassador Molchan met with the Deputy Director General of the Department of Higher Education and Training of South Africa

On July 11, 2017 Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to South Africa, H.E. Mr. Andrei Molchan met with the Deputy Director General of the Department (Ministry) of Higher Education and Training of South Africa Dr. Diane Parker. The Belarusian delegation was also represented by Vice-rector for scientific work of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio electronics Dr. Anatoli Osipov.
The issue of strengthening of cooperation between Belarus and South Africa in the field of education aroused great interest of the South-African side. In particular, there were identified the most promising areas: the exchange of students and master / Ph.D students, joint training of personnel, the activation of contacts between universities on issues of scientific researches, the development of the legal framework in the relevant field.

Currently there are 35 students from South Africa studying in Belarusian universities.
