Ambassador A.Sidoruk attends the “Royal Show” exhibition

As part of the consistent work to expand the presence of Belarusian goods in the markets of South Africa, on 31 May 2023, the Ambassador of Belarus to South Africa Alexander D. Sidoruk visited one of the oldest and largest agricultural exhibitions on the African continent “Royal Show” (Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal province).

The exhibition featured more than four thousand varieties of birds, livestock and other animals used in agriculture. The event was attended by over 117 thousand people from various parts of Africa. They were presented with 478 expositions of machinery, equipment, fertilizers and seeds, processing technologies used by farms.

In one of these expositions, for the first time, a Belarusian tractor assembled under the South African brand «GANDAGANDA» was demonstrated.

The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission took part in the «GANDAGANDA» exposition, held talks with the leadership of the South African company, which sets an ambitious task of occupying with the Belarusian tractors its niche on the markets of South Africa and neighboring countries.

The South African farmers expressed their interest in Belarusian agricultural machinery as easy to use and repair, reliable and durable.
