H.E. Mr. Alexander Sidoruk handed over his Credentials to H.E. Mr. Jacob Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa

On January 17, 2018 H.E. Mr. Alexander Sidoruk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa, handed over his Credentials to H.E. Mr. Jacob Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa.

During the solemn ceremony, Ambassador A. Sidoruk noted that Belarus and South Africa are linked by decades of true friendship, which roots date back to the times of the Soviet Union's support of the African people in their struggle against the apartheid.

In his speech on the occasion of the presentation of Credentials, Ambassador A. Sidoruk also stressed that the Republic of Belarus is determined to provide all possible assistance to South Africa in the development of industry and agriculture, as well as the IT sector, including through the education of students from South Africa in Belarus. Ambassador confirmed the intention of the Republic of Belarus to further develop and strengthen bilateral dialogue and relations with the Republic of South Africa in all spheres in the interests of both countries and peoples.
