Meeting with the representatives of the National System of Satellite Communication and Broadcast of the Republic of Belarus

On 27 September Belarus’ Embassy in RSA has gathered the representatives of the National System of Satellite Communication and Broadcast of the Republic of Belarus (BelInterSat) and South African corporation African Union Holdings to discuss perspectives of a large-scale cooperation to use capacity of BELINTERSAT-1 satellite for the development of telecommunications in African countries.
The Belarusian System is based on its own satellite (BELINTERSAT-1) and provides wide spectrum of telecommunication services, including TV and radio broadcast, broadband Internet, etc. These services are already used in some countries of Asia, Europe and Africa, including South Africa and Angola.
