Minister of Industry of Belarus Vitaly Vovk visits Angola

On June 19-23, 2017 Belarusian delegation headed by Minister of Industry Vitaly Vovk visits Angola. The delegation of Belarus consists of  H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Angola (with residence in Pretoria) Andrei Molchan, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and business community, including JSC “Amkodor”, JSC “MTZ” and JSC “MAZ”.
On June 20th the Belarusian delegation held meetings with Foreign Minister of Angola Manuel Augusto, Secretary of the State Tete António, Minister of Agriculture Alexandro Nhunga, Minister of Industry Bernarda Martins, other officials and business community.

The talks focused on the intensification of the entire range of bilateral relations, including economic cooperation. The parties visited Special Economic Zone Viana, having discussed the perspective directions of business partnership, as well as the Belarusian initiatives on the implementation of joint projects in the areas of machinery and agriculture.

Further meetings of the Belarusian delegation with the heads of Ministries of Finance, Transport and the mayor of Luanda, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho are planned.
