Ambassador of Belarus A.Molchan visits the Western Cape province

On February 11-14, 2016 the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa, Andrei Molchan, paid a working visit to the parliamentary capital of the Republic of South Africa Cape Town (the Western Cape Province).

A.Molchan took part in the opening ceremony of the Parliament session, the South Africa's President Jacob Zuma's annual State of the Nation, as well as in a number of official high-level events, dedicated to the opening of the Parliament session.

During the visit to the Western Cape, A.Molchan met with the Senior Staff of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, as well as with other representatives of the Government, members of Parliament and heads of a number of large commercial enterprises.

During the meetings, the sides discussed a wide range of issues regarding the development of comprehensive cooperation between Belarus and the Republic of South Africa, consolidation of political dialogue, including the arrangement of the regular session of Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
