Ambassador A.Sidoruk takes part in the videoconference on the implementation of the Action Plan to Increase Export Supplies to African Markets in 2020

On January 28, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa Alexander Sidoruk took part in the videoconference, during which the implementation of the Action Plan on the Export of Domestic Goods and Services Increase to the markets of African countries in 2020 in South Africa was reviewed.

The event was chaired by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, A.P. Khudyk, who is an official assigned to South Africa.

The Ambassador made a report on the economic situation of South Africa in the context of the pandemic, summed up the main results of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and South Africa in 2020, and outlined priority areas of work for 2021.

The videoconference was also attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Bellegprom concern, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, OJSC “BelAZ” JSC “MAZ”, OJSC “MTW”.
