Belarusian State Academy of Arts
INTRODUCTORY OVERVIEW
The Belarusian State Academy of Arts (BSAA), founded in 1945 and based in Minsk, is the only higher education institution of arts in the Republic of Belarus preparing students for a career as an artist, an actor, a theatre, film and TV director, a designer, an art historian, etc.
Education at BSAA is based on the best traditions of national and foreign experience in training specialists in the relevant fields of art, as well as on an individual approach to each student in order to maximize his creative abilities. It aims to provide students with the education that will allow them to meet the challenges of the creative industries now and in the future.
Our students are not lost in large classes. As an explicit policy, the faculties limit class size up to 5-6 people, making individual attention and interaction among students and instructors possible. Our students are encouraged to meet the teachers for one-on-one consultation throughout the workshop.
TEACHING STAFF
The Academy features a unique teaching staff who are acknowledged as experts in their fields and are at the forefront of developments in their subject area. This is demonstrated not only through providing students with solid academic knowledge and skills, but also through helping them develop their talents and getting acquainted with new trends in the fields of art, science and culture.
