Ambassador of Belarus holds a meeting with the President of the Pan-African Parliament

On June 27, 2024 H.E. Igor Bely, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa, met with Hon. Chief Fortune Zephania Charumbira, President of the Pan-African Parliament, in the Organization’s headquarters in Midrand, South Africa.

The interlocutors discussed ways to strengthen interaction between the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the main legislative body of the African Union, the schedule of upcoming events and the possibilities for Belarusian deputies to participate in the work of the Pan-African Parliament.

The diplomats paid special attention to mechanisms for transforming the outcomes of interparliamentary cooperation into the economic area.
