Ambassador A.Sidoruk participates in the events of the Independence Day of Zimbabwe

On 17-18 April 2022 Ambassador Alexander Sidoruk visited Bulawayo, where he took part in solemn events on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Zimbabwe.

During his speech at the festive ceremony held at the Barbourfields stadium President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa noted the country's successes achieved over the years of independence in the development of many sectors of the economy, the growth of the living standards of fellow citizens, as well as the strategy for the country's economic development “Vision 2030” currently being implemented by his government “Vision 2030”.

As part of the events, Ambassador A.Sidoruk held brief meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe Frederick Shava, the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development of Zimbabwe Amon Murwira, the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education of Zimbabwe Cain Mathema, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe James Manzou, heads of other government agencies and departments, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Zimbabwe.
