Ambassador A.Sidoruk visits Bloemfontein23.09.2021
On 21-22 September 2021 Ambassador Alexander Sidoruk visited the capital of the province of Free State — Bloemfontein.
Ambassador took part in the events of the Free State Market Access Business Forum organized by MyArts International as part of work to support and promote small businesses and young South African entrepreneurs. During the exhibition, the Ambassador got acquainted with the products and services offered by businessmen. Working meetings and negotiations were held on the supply of Belarusian biofertilizers, agricultural and tire products to South Africa.
During the meeting with the Mayor of Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality Mr. Mxolisi Siyonzana, Ambassador presented the export potential of the Republic of Belarus, noted the need to intensify contacts between the regions of Belarus and South Africa, taking into account the positive experience of work within the framework of the Agreement on Interregional Cooperation between the Free State Province and the Minsk Region.
The Ambassador disclosed the current issues of the development of Belarusian-South African relations in an interview with the local Internet channel Free State Online Channel. The discussion was broadcasted live and can be viewed in the recording (the link is below)[i].
September 22 this year During an interview with the radio station “CUT FM 105.8” located at the Central Technological University, the Ambassador told the audience about the Republic of Belarus and the work of our diplomatic mission in South Africa.
During the second day of the Free State Market Access Business Forum, the Ambassador took part in a panel discussion with business representatives with a presentation of a stand of the Embassy of Belarus in South Africa, an extended presentation of the export potential of Belarus and video materials.
During the exhibition and following the presentation, meetings were held with representatives of the Free State Black Business Council, consulting agencies and companies interested in Belarusian petrochemistry, renewable energy systems, children's clothing, textiles, agricultural machinery, and educational services
