Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry meets Chamber of Commerce and Industry of South Africa

On May 12, 2021, at the initiative of the Belarusian Embassy in South Africa, a meeting (in video format) was held between the Heads of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of South Africa.

Deputy Chairman of the BelCCI Denis Meleshkin informed the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of South Africa, Mr. Mtho Xulu, about the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, possible areas of bilateral cooperation. Mr. Xulu, in his turn, welcomed the initiative of the Embassy and noted the importance of developing relations between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries.

During the event, the Ambassador of Belarus to South Africa, Alexander Sidoruk, spoke about the current trade and economic cooperation between two countries, drew attention to the efforts undertaken by the Embassy to develop bilateral economic cooperation.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on signing in the very near future an agreement on cooperation between the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of South Africa.
