Ambassador A.Sidoruk meets new Ambassador of South Africa to Russia and Belarus

On March 4, 2021, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of South Africa, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa Alexander Sidoruk met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus Mzuvukile Maqetuka and Linda Shongwe, Director of the Department for Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and the Baltic States of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Africa.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current bilateral agenda, including the issues of holding bilateral political consultations of the foreign ministries, as well as the fifth meeting of the Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Special attention was paid to the need to intensify bilateral trade, economic and regional cooperation through the implementation of mutually beneficial projects, as well as cooperation in the field of education, culture and art.
