Ambassador A.Sidoruk meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Africa

On March 8, 2021, at the initiative of the South African side, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa Alexander Sidoruk met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Africa Grace Naledi Mandisa Pandor.

During the meeting, they discussed the current state of bilateral relations. Special attention was paid to the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic, which significantly affected South Africa, as well as the socio-economic problems of the Republic of South Africa that followed.

Taking into account the existing potential of trade, economic and political cooperation, they agreed to continue active work through the existing mechanisms of bilateral interaction, including the holding of political consultations and the fifth meeting of the Belarusian-South African Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation, in order to substantively discuss the bilateral agenda and develop solutions to existing problematic issues of the bilateral cooperation.
